Daddy And Maddy

For the last year or so, I have been intentional to take Madelyn out once a month for a date. We go to the same place and do the same thing. We go to Wendy's on Charlestown Road, buy a Value drink, and talk. At the moment, she typically likes to sit there and tell me knock, knock jokes. If I were to do things her way, we wouldn't have Daddy and Maddy dates, just family outings. She loves when all four of us do anything together. But I want to make sure that I have spent individual time with her before those chances are gone. She is really a grand girl and I love her deeply. It is my prayer that she looks back on these dates with thankfulness in her heart towards God for them. I know I will.
