Why This Blog?

Why this blog? That's a good question. And to be honest, there is side of me that doesn't know why. But there is another side that has been pondering the idea of legacy. I have been asking myself, "What legacy am I leaving behind in this world? What will my children remember about me?" These questions have come about from some conversations that I have had with a friend and my wife. But they have also come from my reflections on Psalm 90 regarding the brevity of life. So my desire for this blog is it will eventually serve my children. It will serve them by teaching, instructing, and reminding them of who they are, who they belong, and why they are here. And if these posts help someone else along the way, thanks be to God!
